A fantastic hotel in which to stay. Half board is excellent value when booked in advance. fantastic choice of well cooked and fresh food, varying every day. Its location is perfect - right on the beach. Its a 10 minute walk along the beach to Fuengirola which is ok but nothing special. The downside of this hotel is its extortionate drinks cost - eg.7.50e for a gin and tonic! The supermarket, though, is 10 minutes away! << Click here to read less

We had been given very good reports about this hotel however having stayed in it out of season we have the following points to make.
Our accommodation was half board, because of the lack of people in the hotel the service and selection of the evening meal, offered were poor and we felt they did not meet the standards of a 4 star Hotel. There were no additional offers given ie one day free use of the indoor pool to make up for these lack of 4 Star Service. The food for the evening meal at times was bland and tasteless and the buffet meals served at breakfast and evening were cold. The water at breakfast for tea was also cold and the staff were very reluctant to give us fresh hot water. << Click here to read less

I would rate this hotel as among the best we have stayed in and would consider it a bit above 4 stars. The rooms were spacious and well presented. The beds are very comfortable, maid service excellent and the inclusion of tea/coffee making facilities, daily chocolate, complimentary fruit basket and water, extensive bathroom extras, a desk, table and armchairs were welcome bonuses. The view from our room was excellent, we were in the Ronda building on the top floor.
The food served up in buffet style for breakfast and evening meal was stupendous with a massive range of different offerings that was sure to please everybody except perhaps those looking for burgers and chips or the like. The wide range of fresh fruit on offer was of excellent quality and almost everyone at breakfast left with handfuls to take to the beach for lunch.
The grounds are extremely well kept as is the main pool and childrens pool. It was good to see the manager always on the prowl from morning to night addressing anything that was remotely out of place or not quite right.
throughout the estate. We will certainly return to this hotel again. << Click here to read less

Excellent hotel, lovely atmosphere and caring staff.
Good sized room but wish they hadn't put a third bed in it as it made our two tables and chairs block the doorway to the balcony.
Also not very keen on the style of pillows (like long narrow bolsters) but we didn't ask for them to be changed so can't complain.
Sometimes the cleaning of the room was rather late in the day (4pm!). A bit inconvenient if you wanted to have a siesta!.
Everything else was excellent and would definitely stay again. << Click here to read less

At this price the Beatriz Palace offered great value. We liked the cleanliness of the hotel, lobby bar with entertainment each evening, the breakfast included in the price and the fact that all rooms have sea views. We didn't like the noisy rooms, very thin walls and connecting doors offering little privacy, the closure of the main restaurant without warning or explanation on our final night or the crowded spa pool costing ?12 to use and we counted over 40 people in it despite a sign advising maximum of 15 persons.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Fuengirola within walking distance if you are fit, or a short taxi ride away costing about ?12. << Click here to read less

This hotel is the best I have ever stayed at. I only ever use this hotel when visiting Fuengerola. The service, staff and facilities are second to none. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, friendly staff all over the hotel. Parking was scarce when we were there.
The Hotel was noisy at night with doors banging and the walls between rooms are not soundproofed, you could almost have a conversation through the walls.
We asked to be moved to another room and nice staff at reception obliged.
Door springs should be fitted to all bedroom doors. << Click here to read less

I have just returned from a 6-night stay at the Beatriz Palace and cannot recommend it highly enough. Admittedly the town of Fuengirola leaves a lot to be desired but as I had hired a car I managed to steer clear of the worst of it!!! The staff were courteous and helpful, the restaurants of a very high standard and the Spa a delight, although it would have been helpful if they could speak a little more English. It is quite hard to understand the intricacies of the treatments with only a basic knowledge of Spanish! Overall though I would rate it a well-deserved 9 out of 10. << Click here to read less

Sadly never met or spoke to any member of the management during our 17 day stay No welcome what so ever for us
no body to show us to our room on arrival at approx 00.30 Am
No body to help us with our bags at arrival
Breakfast.....We found it very Frustrating having to Queue for Serial, Queue at the toast ing machine, queue at the frying section, queue at the tea dispenser ( often no cups available or indeed tea pots so wait.and wait
so therefore we did not wish to have the same hassle for Dinner at night
On one of the nights we were unable to get to sleep until at least 5 00 am because of the shouting anf roaring and door banging of a large group of young Englis men ( no Sign of any management or indeed security on that night
Other than all of these it was average << Click here to read less

Just a 15 minute walk from the main prom of Fuengirola the Beatriz has a less crowded location although the noise from the busy main road can be noticable. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the Beatriz which deserves its four stars. We went half board and found the buffet breakfast and evening meal to be excellent. The outside pool facilities are great although the temperature was cold. The beach, which is on the doorstep, offers an acceptably clean coarse quality sand and gently sloping shoreline. On the whole we felt it offerred great value for money and we would look forward to returning. << Click here to read less

I would definitely stay in this hotel again although only on a B ; B basis as the quality and range of the dinner buffet was somewhat disappointing. All rooms face seaward and are of a high standard and well maintained. The poolside/garden area was likewise well maintained with plenty of sunbeds. One drawback was that the hotel had no smoothing irons and some rooms appeared to be equipped with kettles whilst others weren't. I would recommend that a room on floors 3, 4 or 5 be requested as these give a much more panoramic view as the lower floors have their view restricted by palm trees, etc. It is only a five minute walk from the hotel to the western end of the promenade in Fuengirola whilst about a 8 minutes walk brings you to the quite impressive Miramar Shopping Centre. << Click here to read less

Lovely new four star hotel. Had a King-sized bed and it was great. Lovely room and en-suite bathroom. No facility to make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. We had to wait too long before a room was available. No lights on the corridor or by the lift. Nothing much to do in the local area apart from Sohail Castle. Dangerous walk over the road bridge into Fuengirola. Will be much better in a few years when the promenade is built. Really need a car. << Click here to read less
