At the Stella Maris you get what you pay for; it's not expensive and if you travel around anyway-or enjoy your days at the beach (10 m. from the frontdoor) you will not mind that it's an older Hotel.
The area is most important to us: all rooms have a nice beach-view, and we asked for a room high up-so that the street-noise is less bothering...nevertheless it's there ;.) It's in the near of Fuengirola harbour, some of our favorite restaurants and we will stay at the Hotel Stella Maris again-so absolutely! << Click here to read less

The staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem for them if you required anything.

Keep respect for employee, all staff in hotel is wonderful people.
This apart-hotel is not for nightlife people, but for those of you who enjoys Spanish culture.
You should improve your Spanish before entering the hotel.
As a apart-hotel, this is really great with both hotel-guests and for permanent living.

We would recomend this hotel to all. We were first allocated room 101! which must be the worst room in the hotel, the balcony overlooked a sort of maintenance area where rubbish bags were left. It was not very secure as anyone could easily climb onto the balcony from this area and not private as staff walked past the windows of the bedroom frequently. After 2 days we asked to move and were allocated a seaview 9th floor room which was far superior. Overall the hotel was good for a budget holiday in a good location with good maid service. I would recommend emailing the hotel to ask for a room on one of the higher floors before you go. << Click here to read less

The location of these apartments is great, directly across the road from the beach and about a 5 -10 minute walk to the centre. I can't comment on the hotel pool because we always went to the beach. For what we paid it was excellent value for money. We stayed in a studio apartment which had a lovely view of the sea and had everything we needed for our stay. We did eat out all the time and found some great restuarants along in the centre. I would definately stay in these apartments again if I was returning to Fuengirola and will book through RoomsNet.com again as everything went very smoothly. << Click here to read less

This is the second year we have stayed in the Stella Maris, its location is excellent, you can hear the sound of the sea whilst you are lying in your bed - bootiful, the supermarket just around the corner for fresh bread. You can walk to the marina for breakfast and into fuengirola for shopping - some great shoe shops. We would definately go back again and hope to next year for a long weekend. If you dont mind walking with your cases, get the train from the airport to Los boliches for less than 4 euros for two people - great value, I think a cab is around 40 euros!!! << Click here to read less

Well located and very central between Los Boliches area and Fuengirola centre. I have stayed in this resort many time in various hotels. This has become my first choice of places to stay above all others on ths basis of location and price. I only ever stay room only so that I can eat out wherever I wish formy meals. This hotel suits me for that reason. They do have a perfectly acceptable restaurant and bar for meals which i sometimes use.
