The Buensol apartments are very good as regards location and the general furnishing of apartments but on this occasion we found that the couch in the lounge smelled of smoke and sweat and when we complained and asked for the covers to be changed we were given a sheet to cover the couch with. I think the cushions and covers should have been steam cleaned and this is something housekeeping will have to watch also there seemed to be large groups of lads either stag partys or other large groups which were very noisy at night and who seemed to take over the pool area. This is also going to put off regular visitors to Buensol. When we arrived the bidet was blocked and was not repaired for two days. towels were only changed once in 7days this is not often enough. Housekeeping at Buensol needs to upgrade its thinking and some body should make sure that rooms are in a fit state for habitation before they are allocated. general cleanness need to be watched. << Click here to read less

We dont like maid service and prefer to keep things tidy ourselves but was given new towels twice within the week when she tried to come to clean which was fine as far as I was concerned. The apartment and public areas could do with bit modernisation and the bar could do with having notices to say when open and closed. Found only one grump on reception and all others to be very nice and friendly enough. The day before we left, several large groups of males/females arrived and meant a lot of noise and no sleep , so I am so glad that it was at the end and not beginning of my holiday or it could easily have spoilt it. << Click here to read less

Great location near beach ; marina.Staff very helpful particularly reception.Well equipped apartment as kitchen had fridge/freezer,cooker with gas hobs and oven,and even a coffee percolator.Only slight problem is that towels only changed twice a week but clean ones are available on request at reception.Some good reasonably priced restaurants in area and would recommend Goulash(good 3 course set menu with steaks ; salmon) << Click here to read less

Pricewise a great bargain. Location is also very good. Close to the border between Torremolinos and Benalmadena with a fair selection of resrtaurants and bars within minutes. Make sure you visit The Carvery!!! A couple of small niggles re the apartment but at the price no big deal. Could hear everything from the next apartment and from above if anyone walked across the floor or moved a chair. This isn't unusual in Spanish apartment blocks but these were particularly noisy. They only change towels and clean the apartment every 4 days but changed ours as soon as we requested them. The cleaning standards aren't very high. The reception staff and maintenance personnel were all very helpful and pleasant. |If you want daily cleaning and changes of towels try the Sol Timor nearby but you will pay extra for the privilege. << Click here to read less

the apartment me and my wife stayed in was exellent value for the price we paid .For the four days that we had, we made the best of the weather if you can imagine blackpool in november it was windy 10 digrees we took a coachtrip to gibraltar we did not see the rock as the mist plus the rain made it imposable .brollies was the in thing on the day ,oback to the overall it did not dampen our four days we had there.back to the apartment, bars gallore restaurants plenty if you are disabled you will love this place easy access to all ammenaties and prices arent bad too id recomend buensol apartments to my family in fact im hoping to book there again ror september in the mean time happy camping. bondy. << Click here to read less

Just returned from an 18day stay in the Buensol Apartments. The apartments are in a great location. We had a 5th floor room looking out to the sea and the Marina. Sun went off the balcony about 2 pm. If your room overlooks the pool area you get the sun for longer but we prefer the sea view. The kiitchen is small but adequate. Nice sized fridge with large enough freezer area. Full cooker and all the utensils etc needed. The sittingroom dining area was quite spacious but the bedroom was very small with bathroom off it but again it was adequate. There was very little storage area in the bedroom. Wardrobe was tiny. Even after 18 days I don't know how the cleaning works. After 5 days we went to reception to get ask for a change but nothing happened. We asked again on 6th day and when we returned linen had been changed and room cleaned etc. 3 days later we had towel change only and 3 days after that again the cleaners came and changed linen, towels and did cleaning about 3 or 4 days later we had towel change and 2 days before we left the cleaners came and changed linen, towels and cleaned place!! You can hiire a TV and the remote control for central heating. It is a bit mean that there isn't a TV there anyway. We got it for a good price and for 18 days we found it suitable for our needs and we will certainly stay again. The bar had very strange hours too. You never knew when it was going to be open. Unfortunately was the hotel very noisy and clairaudient. The nicest was the view to the ocean. Only after 5 days the bedclothes have been changed. Also we didn't get only every 2-3 days new towels. As we asked once for other towels the receiption told us that for reason of beeing a cheap hotel they only change every 4 days towels. After my claim I got two towels. 3 friends and I go to the Costa Del Sol for a long weekend 2 or 3 times a year. Recently we have been staying at the Flamingo on an all inclusive basis but a combination of falling quality and the boredom of going to the same place made us look elsewhere. We decided to stay close to the marina at Benalmadena. One of the options was the Buensol. Four mates staying three nights total cost #4.17 a night each, a total of #50.00. Nothing else to pay. The 4 of us had gone to Madrid and had a very bad experience so the cheap option was, at the very least, cause for worry. I even took the keys to my brothers apartment in Benalmadena with me just in case. I promised my wife I would check into a reasonable hotel and pay rack rates if our worst fears were realised. None of these fears were realised. The 2 roomed apartment was basic but more than adequate for 4 mates on a weekend away - if you want a Grand Hyatt do NOT stay here. The rooms were clean, the view of the sea (apart from one large tree) was outstanding. The hotel bar stays open until 2:00am The location was exellent, a 2 minute walk to the beach and within 5 minutes you were at the beginning of the marina. Plenty of bars, lots of them showing Premier League football (including Saturday 3:00pm kick offs). The difference in drink prices were surprisingly varied. From 4 Euros to 1 Euro 20 cents for a beer. In short - cheap and cheerful but amazing value. << Click here to read less

location good,rooms tired but clean,towels etc only changed once during a weeks stay,kitchen very basic.usually eat out so did not use kitchen much, would not like to cook in there for four no worktops. hotel can be very noisey, kept awake one night untill 5 in the morning due to a band playing .reception not very helpfull to any requests made during early evening, after returning from a day out told to come back in the morning on two occassions.these were not major requests one to hire a t.v while we waited for it to stop raining and another to replace a broken corkscrew to open a bottle of wine.in fairness both requests were dealt with( in the morning!) << Click here to read less

these apartments are less than budget standard,although the apartment was clean when we arrived and the sheets on the bed where clean,at NO TIME during our 5 night stay did any maid service arrive,our beds didnt get changed and we had to ring down for clean towels on the 4th day,the toilet cistern had a large crack in it,the tiles in the bathroom had black moss growing on them,the patio curtains had the hem hanging down, and the plastic dining room table was very damaged as were two of the spare chairs,all in all i would never ever stay there again nor would i EVER reccomend them to anyone else,pretty poor all round << Click here to read less
