Great Rooms, good facilities could have done with a microwave which was also an oven instead of just the microwave. The spare bed was next to the doorway and our toddler was quite easily disturbed by the comings ; goings outside but it was fine, just a bit of an odd place to put a sofa/bed. The quality was excellent for the price we paid, the hotel reception ; restaurants are decorated to a really high spec, I worked in the Travel Industry for years and it really was one of the nicest I have seen. The service in the hotel was excellent they really couldn't have been any more helpful. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, the shopping mall next to the hotel has everything you can want and English Language films in the cinema. The ONLY thing that lets it down is the half finished park project to the side that you walk over/ through when you are heading towards Fuengirola. We had a fantastic holiday and considering we were a group of 15 ; everyone liked the hotel we would highly reccomend it if you are not fussed about being next to the beach. We had a brilliant time at this hotel. we were very impressed by the reception area, it was immaculately clean (especially since there were building works just across the road). The whole place in general was very clean. Rooms were spacious and had everything you would need (unless you are planning on cooking proper dinners in them, then the facilities are a bit limited). Hotel and facilities very good - excellent value for the price paid. My only concern was that during my stay the existing restaurant "the Colonial" was closed and a new restaurant "Olea" was opened. Whilst the new restaurant was cutting edge in design etc., the food was much inferior to that of the original restaurant both in terms of quality and choice.For some reason they were not able to keep the buffet dishes hot and many items were lukewarm at best! However , as previously stated , I believe that the hotel provided excellent value and service and I would recommend it with the only reservation being the quality of the buffet meals in the new restaurant. << click here to read less |

We really enjoyed this hotel, it was very clean, inside and out, and was set in a very relaxing environment, with a safe pool for the kids. The only negative point is that it is set on the wrong side of the flyover, so a courtesy bus into Fuengirola would have been nice, but in general an excellent hotel, will definitely stay again. Out of all the holiday apartments i stayed in i would certainly rate the Myramar as one of the best, in terms of location, facilities, cleanliness and nearby amenities it has a lot to offer. We would certainly return to your hotel in the future when visiting Spain. The entertainment could be improved but I think there was something for all tastes and ages. We could not find the Boule Piste! The restaurant was superb but the Castle Bar seemed 'dowdy'. One of the staff at the pol bar was rude to my wife on two occassions! Nevertheless, we had a wonderful holiday. Perhaps more information for those not on package holidays about excursions available, such as a visit to an authentic Spanish night out up in ther mountains could be made available on the notice boards?
