Unfortunately now that holiday companies have gone into the hotel the cliental has changed and i shall reconsider where to stay next spring. They would have been better off leaving it as it was; the workmanship is atrocious and it is already looking tired and negleted - Plaster falling off the walls, sinks not draining, safes not working....unfortunately the list goes on.
On arrival at the hotel, both my friends and us waited nearly FIVE hours for our rooms; each time we were given our keys (to four different rooms) which we were told was ready, the room maids were still cleaning or hadn't yet started. << click here to read less |

Breakfast and Dinner in the hotel was excellent but it would be a better idea to pass on lunch as it was very poor. The swimming pool is beside a very busy road so therefore it was noisy. There is a small play area for children but it is very exposed to the sun, therefore it could only be used very early in the morning or late in the evening. Also if you wanted to leave the hotel and walk into town one have to go under the road through the subway and that was very difficult with a buggy. Other than that it was a lovely holiday and I really enjoyed it with my mother and 16 month old son. << click here to read less |

The hotel was fabulous for what we paid, The rooms were fine, and every single person working there was genuinely friendly and polite. The breakfast was amazing and we will definately be returning. Although the hotel is on a busy road there are two sets of doors to the balcony so that cut out most of the noise. The pool on Friday and Saturday was extremely busy and people put towels out early which we couldn't be bothered to do, so we walked 5 mins down the road to the Ocean Club (8 Euros for a wide sunbed, squidgy mattress and the most attentive waiters I have ever known!) and had a bed on the beach. Myself and my 5 friends will definately be returning. I am not sure the clientel is suitable for small children out of school holidays as it is quite young and "clubby" but I'm sure in the holidays it's fine.

Still a few stag and hen parties but far fewer than in previous years. Service is still good although the food is not quite as good as before.

We stayed on a B;B basis and found the breakfast to be tasty, with a wide variety of food available. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious and cleaned thoroughly each day. A nice hotel if somewhat large but catering for a wide age range of guests which is always good. The choice of food was extensive and having chefs on hand was an added bonus. The staff worked hard but there was a lack of holiday atsmosphere at times. We were impressed by the nice young man who looked after the poolside. In other 4 star hotels we have stayed in there was a plentiful supply of toiletries and free water which was very lacking in Andalucia Plaza and would make such a difference. The pool is amazing, the rooms are very well kept, very comfortable and spacious. 5 minute walk to the beach via the tunnel under the highway, then another 15 mins from the beach into Puerto Banus (or 5Euro in a taxi). The restaurant is lovely, breakfast was great! Gymn, indoor heated pool and suana all available. Thought the hotel was lovely, breakfast was good, pool area nice, it was clean etc etc. When we checked in which was at about 11pm at night the guy on the reception did seem to be a bit abrupt and not very helpful, we checked in and after him not telling us much, ie what direction or floor our room was or where our breakfast would be the next day we wandered around and eventually found it ourselves which I thought was a bit rude! The room was nice, had everything we needed although it was very noisy, we could always hear people walking by talking, and the people in the next room banging about and also what sounded like them moving chairs around constantly and their children crying, I found it very frustrating and would now never stay there again due to this. Its a shame really as the hotel is nice and is a good position but I just couldnt stand the noise that came with it, we only stayed there for 5 nights thankfully, if we had of been staying longer then I definitely would have had to make a complaint and asked to be moved. << click here to read less |

The hotel is very well situated, being just a few minutes walk from the beach and a few more minutes to the lively harbour area of Puerto Banus. However, noise from the very busy main road adjacent to the hotel makes having a conversation while sitting on your balcony a near impossibility. Also, while having tiled floors in the rooms helps to keep them cool, noise transfer form other rooms is a real problem. Very nice hotel, great breakfast, good pool, great service, room impeccable. Never the feeling that the hotel was full, or that people where stacked up, even when it was. Great location for shopping and going out.
However, doifficult to find (a map would have helped) and very close to the highway so you constantly hear the noice of cars by the pool or in the room we had.
The sauna ; turkish bath should be free. My friend loved the spa and beauty care. << click here to read less |

The hotel is very big and situated on a busy main road which makes it hard to relax by the pool. It also suits a particular type of holidaymaker - large groups of golfers, rugby players or hen/stag dos!
