The hotel was in a great location to the beach and the main street, the pool area was lovely and maintained very well the lounge had a great view of the sea and the decor created a lovely relaxed athmosphere in which to sit and have a drink and Carmel the lady serving us was friendly and helpful overall all the staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was excellent and provide a larg range of choice for all, we booked an evening meal which was a three course for 14? although the food was good the amount on the plate was small, the lunch meal seemed much better and was busy each day.
For me the only two small drawbacks was the number of available front rooms with a sea view were limited and I was unable to book one and the hotel only had one elevator, overall the hotel met our needs, I will stay here again when i visit sitges. << click here to read less |

We did not like this hotel. It is noisy in the mornings and at weekend nights because of its proximity to a busy road - at the entrance. The breakfast was absolutely dire - there was very little choice and nothing was too fresh. The scrammbled eggs (the only eggs availble) were vile and not real I think. Breakfast is served in the Sports Bar and it was cold - no heating despite it being January. I have stayed in a number of hotels in Sitges but this is the worst.

My Girlfriend and I have just returned from a three night stay at the Platjador between Christmas and the New Year.
Was really pleased with the Hotel. Check-in was a breeze. The room was quite large and very clean. We had been given a triple room which had a Double and 2 Singles in it. The Bathroom was spotless with a large walk-in shower and plenty of towels which were changed daily.
Breakfast was really good. Everything you could want and more. All sorts of bread, cereals, cakes, fresh fruit, hot drinks, hot breakfast. The only thing letting it down was the juice. It was the powdered variety you always seem to get in a few Spanish Hotels. This was made up fo by the availability of Cava, though we never indulged. Breakfast hours were great as well, from 8-11 which gives you the chance for a lie in.
The Hotel is in a fantastic location. Right on the seafront, literally 100m from the sea. I have lived in sitges before and there a re loads and loads of good Bars, Clubs and Restaurants. (just stay away from L'Oca, they will try and rip your eyes out and serve you very mediocre food accompanied by dreadful service, be warned.)
Overall, for the cost of the Hotel, it is amazing value. I will be using the Platjador from now on when I return to Sitges. << click here to read less |

The location of the hotel was excellent. We had the best breakfast we have ever had in this star rating of hotel. Variety of bread and rolls, strawberry and chocolate cakes, toast,cold meat and cheese, cooked breakfast, cereal, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, nice variety of fruit cut up,juices.
There was some noise at the back of the hotel from what appeared to be air conditioning generator. Receptionist said we could change the room if we wanted but didn't bother as I'm a good sleeper. In the twin room we were in we had a double and single bed. Nice staff. << click here to read less |
