Hotel staff speak good english,and are reasonably friendly (although I think we were the only Brits there).Food was adequate, although a bit difficult if you don't like fish. The location of the hotel is right on the beach with an open aspect towards the Med. Most of the other hotels in the area aren't like that and seem hemmed in. This hotel isn't. The food is excellent and there's a very good range to choose from, though younger children who like chips with everything may find it a little bit limiting from time to time. Bar prices are pretty reasonable, as is the cost of the food not included in the price you paid. The swimming pool is beautifully clean, in really good condition and there was a lifeguard on duty when we were there. The only downside is that the water doesn't appear to be heated so you have to be brave going in. The staff are warm and friendly. The rooms aren't huge but big enough and are spotlessly clean. We went in May and paid #380 for four nights half board with two adults and three children. It was very good value There's a pharmacy, a mini market and a bank with an ATM within a minute's walk. Port Aventura is about 20 minutes if you're going by bus and about 15 by taxi. Bus fare is about #1 per person each way and the bus stop is outside the hotel door. Easiest way to get to the resort is to fly into Reus airport. Transfer to hotel will cost between #20 and #30 by taxi. This hotel offers a high quality reasonably-priced base for a family holiday and we'll be using it again. << click here to read less

We had a wonderful holiday the staff were brilliant and the food catered for everyone's taste, in a great position right on the beach.
