For what i paid this was a very good deal.
Good points
Very large pool with plenty of sunbeds and although we travelled in Sept 08 and hotel was starting to wind down i think there would be enough Sunbeds during high season.
Hotel was very spacious although dining room was a little cramped, bedroom was far better than expected, it was cleaned regularly with sheets and towels changed often.
Bad Points
Food
The selection of food for main meal was not to our taste as there was a lot of fish although i have to say the soups were superb so a couple of bowls with 2 rolls was a meal substitute on a few occasions. Meat was always Pork or Veal with Chicken occasionally. The breakfast buffet was good.
All in all we didn't go hungry, but food could have been hotter.
There was a selection of sweets with cakes, jelly. yoghurt, melon and rice pudding being a few. Drinks were fine, no problem there.

Some of the reviews on this hotel were terrible. I wouldn't agree with them at all. The hotel was very clean and the maid service was excellent. The food was a bit repetitive but I think this is to be expected from any all inclusive. There were good facilities although it was a bit disappointing that there wasn't a bar at the top swimming pool. It meant you had to go down to the hotel if you were thirsty. The only other complaint was the animation team, or rather animation person (there was only one). There was a great football pitch although no sports were organised. If you had female children you were ok as all the entertainment seemed to be centred around girls. I had two boys with me and there was absolutely nothing organised for them which was rather annoying as we have been to other hotels owned by the same company and the animation was really good. All in all we had a great time and I would certainly recommend this hotel. Read Less

This hotel is ideal for a few nights. The food is fine. We were warned within 5 minutes of arriving that the food is terrible, but we didn't have a problem with it. if we were there all week I think it may have caused a problem as it probaly could get repetibve. Don't drink the rose wine . It's fine for putting on your chips though! The red & white wine is fine though. We went in mid June & the hotel was less than 50% capacity which suited us. No getting up early for sunbeds. I would not choose this hotel as a main holiday as I would probably feel cheated, but as a break out of season is just right for us. The facilities are fine with a large swimming pool next to the bar. the hotel is dated but clean as such, it's just a bit rough round the edges in places, but we paid pennies to stay here so you cannot expect pure luxury. The location is 15 minutes from Cambrills & 40 minutes from Salou. The local bus stop is wihin 50 metres from reception. A few shops & restruarants within a few hundred yards. The beach is golden sand & lovely. Read the reviews & make up your own mind, just remember that someones opinion staying for a few nights compared to a week + will more than likely be different. I have stayed in this area every year but not this hotel before, I could not fault this hotel, food was fab, bar staff great but a lot of people that we spoke to didnt like the food but we taught it was great, a brilliant selection. I like this area of Spain as you can just get a bus to a lot of places like Cambrils, Tarogona and the train to Barcelona. Read Less

Some of the reports I read before I left were awful and to be honest I was fearing the worse.
When we arrived we were greeted by helpful but not over friendly staff . After checking in we went to the rooms that were fairly old in decoration but clean which is the main thing for me and the air con worked fine.
The reviews on the resturant were also very poor however the food was fine. Good selection and nothing to moan about at all.
The only really bad point I can say about the hotel is the attitude of SOME of the bar staff. They were very rude and made you feel un comfortable when ordering drinks but generally this is always the case when you are all inclusive-but as I said to my partner they make the rules not us!!!
All in all a fab week at this hotel. The price we paid (approx #180 each for a weeks all inclusive ) excellent. Read Less

My friend and I had a most enjoyable holiday considering the price we paid. However, had this been my main holiday with the children I would have been very disappointed with the entertainment and facilities. Early in the season we expected it to be quiet... I appreciate we were in Spain where at this time of year the Spanish embassy arrange for their elderly to have a holiday and think its a wonderful idea but unfortunately I was not aware of this when I booked. An English family arrived and had to complain about the pool being unclean and also the lack of choice of food in the restaurant which was serving 'pigs trotters' !! We weren't aware we could have a cooked breakfast until, again, the english family complained. These things in no way spoiled our holiday but feel I should comment on behalf of others who may not get the opportunity. I would like to say the staff in the hotel were extremely nice and helpful and hope my appreciation is passed on - to the bar staff in particular. Read Less
