We really enjoyed our stay at the Santa Monica, ideal location, not far from the beach. The food was good but a little repetative. The only disappointing thing was booking in on the arrival at the hotel. We were told that we could access the room at 12.30pm and it was nearly 2.00pm by the time we actually had access which when you have had an early morning flight is not what you need. The entertainment was average but we were close enough to bars outside the hotel so this was not really a problem.

Very pleased with the hotel as I can't fault them with any of the service we got as the service from staff and the cleanliness of the room were to a very high standard. I would suggest that the kids club be improved as to take in activities in the afternoon as its closed in the mornings until 8 o'clock in the night. I would suggest a few more toys in the Kids Room apart from the play dough and crayons for colouring that are already there. Apart from the above, I would have no reservation about staying in the hotel again.

This rooms were very basic but clean. The pool area was not very big and in peak season it would be difficult to get a lounger. The food was poor and I stuck with the salad everyday. During the day you can only get crisps from the bar and have to go into town to get other snacks or food. The location of the hotel is very close to the main area so there is alot of noise from people levaing the bars through the night but the up side is that its only a short walk to the bars/shops and beach. Overall the hotel was good for the money we paid and the staff were all very friendly. I would stay here again but would only pay for the room and eat out in the town.

Santa Monica is in an excellent location, near the beach, shops, close to bus stops for tours and days out. The hotel is very clean and the food was good. Rooms are basic, no hairdryer and are a bit small, but for a short break this hotel is ideal. Got a swimming pool, which has a lift guard on duty every day, lots of entertainment for all ages. Staff are helpful.

We stayed 4 days in the hotel. Reason to select this hotel was the cheap price and location on the center. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The daily breakfast was quite poor, but this was more than compensated by the dinner. What a nice selection of fish, meat and fruit. For us certainly a reason to come back.

Hotel very well located, lots of bars restaurants close by. People with rooms overlooking pool said rather noisy at night due to night clubs opposite. I was at the back of the hotel so not the greatest veiw from balcony but not noisy. Food typically spanish buffets,which were OK, however very easy to eat out. Did not see much of the evening entertainment. Plenty of space around the pool and sunbeds easily available all day. For the money it was good value.

The hotel was fine clean, helpful staff and entertainment of an evening which was varied. Just right location not to noisey but within walking distance from all the activities. The resturant was a little dis-organised at first but improved over the week.
