This was a return trip to the Oasis Tossa, 9 years after our first visit. It was just as good as we remembered and we will definitely return.Tossa is the "gem" of the Costa Brava - unspoilt and beautiful - no high rise and no bad behaviour - very safe and relaxing.

We've just returned from a ten day break at oasis tossa and it's probably the best spanish hotel weve been to. there was nothing you could fault. Even the food which there was plenty of choice and we didn't get offered the same main dishes twice whilst we were there. I'd read some reviews before we left saying the food was a bit cold. It wasn't but for those of you who like a steaming hot plate, microwaves are provided Resort was excellent and take the glass bottom boat early in the morning and stay at the beach for the day. We visited in the early part of May, 2008. Our stay was curtailed due to domestic circumstances but we were there for six days. We have used this hotel before on at least two occasions and were not disappointed this time, except for the weather!! All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially the Dining Room Manager Antonio, and the Reception Desk lady, Lillian.
The evening entertainment was exceptionally good. The ONLY adverse comment I would make is that the price for using the hotel's underground garage (we drove to Spain) at 13 euros per night is a bit on the steep side. Roadside parking is difficult and if the hotel's car park were cheaper it would be used far more. It was almost empty while we were there due to the high price!!! Felt that to our standards this was not a four star, we have stayed in 2 and 3 star of far superior quality.Sauna and Solarium has to be paid for even though nothing else in the Hotel to do indoor pool not open until 9am which defeats the object of exercise before breakfast. << click here to read less |
