The hotel was very good although our room was a bit dark as the only window was into the covered reception area. This also meant there was nowhere to hang swimming gear & towels to dry. The food was good, 3 choices offered for both starters and main course (set menu) and lots of desert choice. A car is a requirement as the beach was about 2.5 km away and we didn't see any public transport. The hotel is round the corner from the aerodrom, where you could have a go at skydiving, and a kart track which was well equipped for any speed freak in your family with 2 tracks, one for children, and a very good bar upstairs. Empuriabrava itself had an excellent choice of restaurants and tapas bars and plenty of shops for that essential present to take home. The homes here are built along a run of canals so each had their own boat mooring behind the premises. More >> |
