Overall this is a lovely place-we visited recently in december which is outside the tourist season so everything is very quiet.Which was perfect for us.Apartment was very clean, well maintained-felt like a home away from home.Its just 5 minutes walking from the bus station and 2 minutes from a supermarket-ended up cooking a bit which was fun and saved us a bit of money. The apartment is right on the main promenade so in the thick of everything-would recommend the seaview facing apartments, especially if you are a couple or family-you get a stunning view of the sea and surroundings, even at night the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach lulls you into a meditative state. Do remember to get the basic bits and bobs like tea bags/salt/sugar -nothing is supplied other washing up liquid.altogether its a cracking place.

We were self catering and after arrival were responsible for the cleanliness of the room, the changing of towels and sheets. This suited us as we were completely left to our own devices. The apartments were of a very good standard equipped with everything we required. Excellent location, just off the beach and within easy reach of the pubs/clubs/shops etc.

booked a weekend break in january. studio apt with seaview clean and tidy, everything you need in kitchenette except a kettle, but a pan did the job. sofa beds uncomfortable couldn`t have slept on them for any longer.friendly staff. good views worth paying for. good budget accomodation in excellent location.

The Almirall apartments are excellent value for money. They are most likely to suit holiday makers without young children as there are no swimming pools,amusement arecades or other forms of enteraianment within the building. I think this is a place that should be considered by singles,couples and adult groups.

Fantastic value for money although the apartment didn't actually have beds, there are two sofas with a pull out mattress but it was fine for us! The location was perfect for the beach, bars, nightclubs and shopping! Everything was within 2 minutes walk but far enough from the main street so as not to be noisy at night. Cocktail bar opposite the apartments on the beach was great and we had a direct view of the beach and bar from our apartment balcony. Cleanliness of the rooms was 100% and fresh towels were provided every day by reception at your request. Cutlery and crockery were provided but I cannot comment on any othe facilites because we didn't use them! We had a 10pm flight, usually check out is 10am and for another 20 euros we were able to keep our apartment until 7.00pm with no fuss. Taxi to and from the apartment from Girona airport was under 50 euros and took less than half an hour. We paid £78.00 through rooms.net for 4 nights and it was absolutley fantastic value for money, all in all a great holiday!!

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a sea view and what a fabulous view it was! Facilities are quite adequate for a short stay - usual Spanish tradition of supplying the biggest family stew pot but no kettle. Lots of room for two people sharing but not really suitable if there was the maximum capacity of four. No complaints and this certainly represented good value for money. Don't underestimate the nightmare of parking, but thats the resort problem not the accommodation.
