  • 4th November 2006 - 28th January 2007 in Turin - Luci d'Artista "The Artist's Light" is when Turin gets transformed into an open air gallery with light sculptures and decorated streets and buildings. 2
  • 8th January 2007 in Milan - The Naviglio Grande Antiques Fair Milan's largest antiques fair takes place on the last Sunday of every month. 27th - 30th January 2007 in Rome - Alta Roma This fashion show with a difference take place twice a year at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome and in Piazza di Pietra.
  • 3rd February 2007 in Comiso - Feast of San Biagio A small celebration takes place dedicated to San Biagio, the Patron Saint of Comiso. This is followed by celebrations in a grander scale, which is held every July.
  • 4th February 2007 in Viareggio - Viareggio Carnival This is a carnival held in Viareggio and is one of the most colourful and spectacular events taking place in Italy.
  • 4th February 2007 (also first Sunday of every month) in Venice - Venetian Fortifications Open Day This is when all the 16th and 17th century fortifications around the city of Venice are open for public viewing.
  • 3rd - 4th February 2007 in Milan - Vinilmania The Vinilmania record fair at the Parco Esposizioni Novegro is a popular fair where record enthusiasts worldwide meet and buy and sell their records.
  • 7th November 2006 to 7th February 2007 in Florence - Winter in Florence Where Florence bursts into a hive of activitiy with a series of shows, events, concerts and exhibitions.
  • 11th February 2007 (and also 2nd Sunday of every month) in Rome - Paradiso delle Signore "Ladies Paradise" is a fair featuring furniture, jewellery, clothes and accessories.
  • 14th February 2007 in Rome - Saint Valentine's Day The day synonymous with lovers, all over the world. Valentines Day has special significance in Rome because legend has it that this day has its origins in this city.
  • 18th February 2007 in Florence - Florence Carnival The days before lent are spent in a highly enjoyable carnival atmosphere where there are parties, street processions and costumes and customs from around the world.
  • 9th - 20th February 2007 in Venice - Venice Carnival The city of Venice comes to life with masked balls and elaborate theatrical and musical performances, among many more activities.
