It was great trip to Benidorm. Lovely hotel. Relatively close to all (night) entertainment, but far enough to relax and sleep well at night. Swimming pool area spotless. It?s upon hill so we had to take free bus back to hotel. They have their own FREE car park if you have car rented. You have to pay in many other hotels for parking.
Rooms were clean, bathrooms clean, food delicious. Definitely it was good value. Staff was polite and helpful. All speak English.
They have strange rules regarding staying after your check-out time. You either have to pay additional 16Euro and stay till 6pm or you have to leave the room at appropriate time. I?d like to return. << click here to read less |

There was a lack of entertainment during the week, which didn't bother us but was commented on by other guests. This was our second stay, and was enjoyed as much as the first. This time there were more British staying, and so it was a lot quieter in the dining room and bars than when there were more Spanish staying! The food once again was very good, with more than enough choice to suit most people.
If you want a meal outside the hotel, then we can thoroughly recommend the 'Battered Cod' just down the Avenida Londres. Excellent fish, chips and mushy peas, bread and butter with tea or a beer, all for 5 euros. What a bargain, and what a treat, as we live in Spain! Also, if you need a quiet bar where there is no TV, bingo or quizzes, just great for having a chat, then 'Blondies' just up from the Battered Cod, is ideal. << click here to read less |

Just returned after our third visit in as many years to the Palm Beach. As before we found the hotel offered really good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Bedrooms clean with reasnable fascilities. Good quality food with a wide selection of choice. The pool area was well equiped with sunbeds and chairs. The indoor pool and gymnaium offered an excellent alternative Although the hotel is situated some way from the beach and centre a free minibus is provided. This service is limited so people with disabilities could have problems.
All in all the hotel was, as stated, good value for money and had maintained its high standard experienced on previous visits. A special bonus on this visit was that we were offerd free wine and water with our main meals
We will certainly return again and probably use Rooms.net as our booking agents

The outside was being painted. The rooms had been decorated and the water damaged doors in bathrooms had been replaced. The food and choice was up to the usual standard. this is the second time we have visited this hotel ; it was even better than before. the staff are very friendly ; helpful ; the food is extreamly good ; varied. dont be put off by the location as despite the steep hill the hotel gives you free bus tickets not only to the beach but also to benidorm town so there is no need to walk ; the bus is every half hour each way. there is music ; dancing every night ; shows which although are not spectacular they are better than most we have seen in benidorm. altogether we would recommend this hotel to our own family ; we will be returning soon. << click here to read less |

The only thing i did not like in the room was the sink in the bathroom, it is far too close to the toilet seat, you could almost lay your head on the sink the space is so tight and i'm a slim person! Staff were very nice and friendly even though we arrived on their holiday weekend and they were very busy. The hotel is up a hill but we always stay in the Rincon area so are used to it, there is a bus but we walked it every day..even my 16 month old was fine walking up the hill! The only criticism I have is that I found some of the reception staff are not very friendly, other than that all the other staff were excellent. on saturday nights they seem to cater for local weddings as on both occassions I have stayed they have had weddings on. The hotel and rooms and pool area is always spotless and well maintained. Definately value for money. The hotel is often occupied by spanish families and that's a good sign. If you are elderly or have young kids or have difficuly in walking, this hotel is on a steep hill and not for the faint hearted, going down is ok although pavements tiled and can be slippery, taxis cost about 5 Euros from the beach front area back to the hotel. all in all very good hotel and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a nice clean and well priced hotel. << click here to read less |

Super time! Rooms were fine. The only problem some people might have is the walk back, as the hotel is situated at the end of a steep slope. But for exercise that's fine! There is a bus service (21) which leaves every half hour except between 2 and 5 in the afternoon, for those who can't make it on foot. Collect the tickets at reception--you need them to get on the bus!
The food was good, except for the coffee, which was clearly nescafe or some equivalent, not the fresh bean. Staff very friendly and efficient.

The Christmas dinner had to be seen to be believed, 9 courses, although not to all tastes, but fresh and delicious, with great service, including free wine. Turkey was 7th course, so save some space, mince pies etc to follow, superb. The nightly shows were mainly dancers or acrobats or magic, but again superb, you think you've seen it all, but great entertainment. The bars closed at midnight, so no noise to keep you awake, we had our 7 year old grandson and 87 year old mother with us, so it suited us fine.
The hotel is on quite a steep hill , so the car was handy ,esp for mother, but for able bodied clients not a problem. The weather was fine, apart from 1 day, we walked the length of the prom every day. We have recommended to friends for Xmas '08 << click here to read less |

It runs every half hour til about 11pm. The facilities on offer at the hotel are OK with decent buffets on offer however, the dining area can get somewhat overcrowded. There is a decent sized outside bar area and the entertainment provided when we stayed was very good. The rooms were ok for the price. we paid #170 for 5 days full board for three adults how can anyone fault that, the hotel was nice the staff very friendly,and the food buffet at all meals was very varied and in our opinion lovely.
The hotel is a little bit out of the way but to be fair they provide a shuttle bus that takes guests down into the town,this is a half hour service we never had a problem getting on the bus.

Rooms were immaculate and nicely decorated, facilities of hotel were good and well situated for a 10 minute walk to town, the hill comming back is not for the faint hearted, elderly, very young or people requiring assistance. for both of us plus our 8 year old daughter. They had arranged the room in a very cramped style, we complained and were found another room which offered better sleeping facilities.
We felt the hotel was beginning to look a little tired and in need of some renovation for example our bathroom door was water damaged and looked very sorry. Also on the days we changed our towels we were not given sufficient in return.
Having said all that the food and choice of food was excellent. The majority of the staff were very helpful and as usual the quality of the two comperes, Gonzalez and Javier were very good and entertaining. The 3 lifts serving all were also very slow.The pool was idal for my 9 yr old son. The hotel was defintely 4 star. The service was excellent, cleanliness of hotel and room was spot on. The food served at breakfast and evening meal was first class with plenty of choice. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. It is at the top of a hill so wakling down is fine but back up a bit hot!!!! The hotel is of a friendly nature accomadating a range of nationalities. The bar staff are very friendly and pleasant. The lifts are small and slow. The food was mixed - a fair variety byt it was a bit hit and miss at times. Breakfast was better standard and variety. On the whole though we couldn't grumble. The hotel quality vs the price was fantastic and we had a great holiday. We would stay at the Palm Beach again for sure. << click here to read less |

The cleaniness was A1 as was the food, reception staff always ready to help and had perfect english. Due to its location on a hillside not suitable for guests with walking difficulties but a courtesy bus runs every 30 minutes till 9.30pm.
