We found this hotel to be excellent value for money, being only a very short walk to the many delightful shops, and the beach is only a five min;walk away. There is an excellent cafe in the hotel where most things are served at a very reasonable price. It is only a 20 minuite walk or a half hour stroll to the night life in the new part of benidorm, where there are many clubs with entertainment, and night life to suit most tastes. There are also many excellent places to eat if you can not be bothered to go back for your lunch or evening meal. The only fault we found was that there was no facilities for a late drink, tea or coffee as well as alchoholic variety. Also breakfast finished at 10am where at most other hotels it is 10.30. Also there was no proper coffee in the dining room. Benidorm is a must for travellers of all ages at new year, when in the square this is celebrated in real style with first of all fireworks then free party bags and the customery twelve grapes and glass of champagne. Followed by the most dazzling of shows which seems to go on all night with dancing in the street, we did not leave until 3.45 am and it was still going strong, but enough is enough when the old bones creak.
