You get what you pay for and we did. No problems upon arrival, staff very pleasant. When booking I requested a top floor room facing onto the street and that is what we got - excellent. I think about half the rooms face into a small enclosed courtyard. Excellent central location for the old town. Great atmosphere looking down onto the busy street. If you are early to bed then I would not recommend this hotel as you have got all the hustle, bustle and noise from the street. Very quiet at 3am in the mornings when getting back though!!! We had a shower in the room and used the toilet/bath facilities at the end of the corridor - very clean. Had fresh towels and beds made every day. Room does become a bit stuffy as there is no fan or air conditioning. We was half-board and you eat at the Bristol 3 star half board which is only 5 minutes away. Compared with other 3 star hotels we have stayed in in Benidorm, there was a small choice of food and we ate out most nights. If you want a central location, clean basic room (great if you can get a room overlooking the street) then we would fully recommend this hotel. We will definately stay there again (as long as I could get a street facing room) and not worry about booking for breakfast or half-board - but for the small extra that you pay, even if you eat there just a couple of times then it would be worth that.
