We've stayed at quite a few hotels in Benidorm over the past few years, the Barcelo offers really good value for money and is a hotel we would use again, the only problem we had was that the courtesy room on our last day wasn't available when it should have been and we were on a tight schedule so had to use the loos at the pool! Other than that the food was good, staff were fine and the location is excellent, close enough to all that Benidorm has to offer but far enough away to ne able to get a decent nights sleep (unlike the Orange!) Some of the bedrooms can be on the small side, however if you are travelling with a child, you do appear to get allocated a larger room, if there's only two of you though, it may be a bit of a gamble. In all we had a great time, we're going back to Benidrom in September and will probably stay at the Barcelo again.

food excellent,and quality of the hotel good staff generaly polite, and profesional,good atmosphere with many other nationalities staying in the hotel, room was the smallest we have ever stopped in and we would have not wished to have stopped any longer in it, but it was very clean and nice to have plenty of hangers in the wardrobe for once! the pool whilst looking good, as we were never able to get a sun beb spent most of the time at the beach, hotel note that we therefore spent nothing at the bar! would return again if we could be sure of a better sized room and sort the sun beds out.
