The pool on the top floor was a superb area with spectacular views across the city, also with bar and snacks sun terrace.
The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, our teenage Grandson and his pal who are both over 2 metres in height, with healthy appetites, said it was brilliant, also the Buffet lunch was fabulous with again lots of choice, the service level was good, and rception staff speak good English. This was a perfect location for our short holiday. It allowed us to get away from the hustle and bustle but was within walking distance of the major art galleries and tourist sites. The Sants Station was close by for independent rail excursions to Dali's Figueres, etc. The hotel was served by local taxis and the staff were very helpful and efficient. Read Less

The bar area was very dissapointing as there was no atmosphere/music. Also the bar staff had limited knowledge and no crushed ice for cocktails. Asked for 2 side by side rooms as travelling with 3 children, these not pre- allocated. To obtain 2 rooms on same floor, we had to take lower standard than we had paid for, with no refund made to us.

Good hotel, good crevice, good location. The problem is the walls and ceilings are so thin that when someone coughs, whether they are in the next room, below or above, you can hear. If you are planning to relax in the morning and stay for a bit longer in the bed, you will have problem. Also the renovation in the hotel and building site right next to the hotel does not help. Nice hotel equipped with swimming pool and a convenient location for Sants railway station and the Metro. Only drawback was that it was a bit noisy at times, largely due to road traffic outside and tiled floors inside. There is a convenient tapas bar close to the hotel although there are cheaper bars slightly further away and off the tourist track. we enjoyed our stay very much, the staff were very friendly, we had two evening meals and one lunch as well as breakfast in the restaurant during the four days we were there.our rooms were spotlessly cleaned every day our towels were changed daily we had an end room which also had a balcony we had to check out by lunchtime but we left our luggage in their care until we were ready to collect it.we very impressed with the location as being close to the railway station we did not know what to expect but we recommend it and would use it again if we visit barcelona in the future Read Less

we booked this hotel and for bed and breakfast and the breaksfasts are excellent, the restaruant was also very popular but didnt offer a children menu. There are lots of restarants in the area and a supermarket.
Overall I would recommend this hotel is a great base and has plenty to offer

If you want to sleep past 7.30am then this is not the hotel for you, I was woken periodically throughout the night by noise from other rooms, corridors etc, and trying to sleep on in the morning is impossible. We had a family room that was quite cramped. On the plus side the hotels location is a bit out of the centre but easily accessable for train station, metro and airport and you can get anywhere in the city easily from it. Read Less

The new rooms look really nice but you have to pay extra for that privelege!
I would adivise visiting after these improvements are finished but not before as the rooms are very worn and in great need of a lick of paint and some air freshner!!! Read Less
