Excellent Hotel - could do with indoor pool though if you are not staying during summer months. Outdoor pool empty til May and we were lucky enough to get low 70's weather in March!! but no pool.
We stayed with 2 infants and staff were really accommodating/friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly stay here again. Location is very good for Ramblas etc. Read Less

We stayed at the Gran Marina in November 2006 and it was everything we expected for a 5* hotel. The service was impeccable, the room 1st class and the food excellent. Although not cheap, the prices in the bar reflected the good quality we received. Nothing was too much trouble in fact we were a little disappointed that we didn't have a sea view but the quality of our room was too good to complain about. We had a spa bath, power shower, marble from top to bottom and very comfortable beds. The location of the hotel was fantastic as it is a 5 min walk to La Rambla and also to the Marina and the beach! When we stay in Barcelona in the future the Gran Marina is the only place for us to stay! Read Less

overall the hotel accomodation and location was very good. it was lovely having an outdoor pool although it's quite small-just for a dip rather than a swim. there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which would have been nice. the price of drinks and food in the hotel were expensive-over ?3 for a 333ml bottle of water, ?11 for glass of wine.
