Cleanliness without fault.
Bedrooms (ours at least) were fairly basic but had everything that would be needed (including air conditioning!)
The only downside was the other very noisy, inconsiderate guests who made it difficult to sleep until around 03-30. << click here to read less |

The location is perfect, the price was very reasonable and the breakafast was adequate. If you have a preferred preserve (strawberry jam, marmite etc) do take that along ; then you are left wanting nothing, for the money! << click here to read less |

The hotel was perfect for me and my friend brilliant location just off La Rambla and reception was open all night. The rooms were small and basic but clean and the maid didn't disturb you in the morning - bonus! Staff were all friendly and helpful. Sound proofing in the hotel was awful, which wasn't too much of a problem for us as we were out all day and into the early hours of the morning, but bare this in mind if you want early nights! Breakfast very very Basic. Staff were very helpful. An excellent place to crash after a long day and long night in Barcelona.

Excellent value for money!!!!, yes the hotel was basic but clean, staff were friendly and 24 hour reception was a real plus. Just off Les Rambles made it an ideal location and the square behind was excellent for a late night drink before returning to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and would return there again. I read the reviews before going and they almost put me off, I did not feel threatened by the area at all and saw no 'dodgy' people hanging around. << click here to read less |

The staff on the desk were unhelpful in the extreme, everything was just too much trouble, even an extra blanket and a mug of hot water (my friend had flu). The breakfast was basic, but fine. It was located off La Rambla on a very busy and noisy street. There were some some very dodgy characters hanging around, however the staff are very helpful and friendly and answered any queries we had. If at all possible ask for a room that isnt street facing as sleeplessness was a major factor. safe directions to arrival at hotel would help. Beds were hard and creaky, no remote for changing volume on T.V only spainish channels available. All this said overall it was satisfactory but a few extras would make all the difference << click here to read less |

The hotel is centrally located with really good shopping and site seeing facilities. Also lunch at the marina a ten minute walk on a beautiful Sunday afternoon was the highlight of my weekend. Slightly to the left and opposite the hotel the restaurant was a big hit with the locals and tourist alike as the menu at 16 Euros is highly recommended. Apologies for not having the restaurant's name but I do not have the card with me whilst responding to this. Apart from the set menu there was amazing choice from the main menu which was much cheaper than the set menu if you are on a budget, something which which would not be possible in London.
The only drawback about the hotel was that it appears to be used as a thoroughfare to most of the accommodation off the Ramblas and the squares, and at times it was very noisy. So unless you intend to be out partying until 5.00 a.m. in the morning it's not a good choice. Apart from that it was good value for money, and personally I would stay there again due to its locality. Also it was just 4 stops on the metro fromth bus station at Barcelona Sant. A word of warning. Beware of unscrupulous taxi drivers as our driver did not have his meter running and also charged us 11 Euros each. The maximum fare is around 8 Euros from Barcelona Sant to the Comercio. << click here to read less |

People were very nice who worked there- if you are staying for more than a couple of days you may want somewhere more luxuirous, but it was simple, central and cheap- which is perfect for a quick break. << click here to read less |
