Clean, comfortable, friendly. Lots of local tapas bars and cafes. Had a great time. Transport to the city seems daunting, but it isn't, you just have to know what you are doing. A 67 bus will take you directly into the city centre in about half an hour. The stop is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. But you don't have to travel all the way in on the bus if you don't want to as it stops at a few of the metro stations. Also you can get a tram from the same place where the bus stops. That cannot be taken all the way into the town, but it does stop at a few of the metro stations. Personally, I'd take the bus because you see so much more of the city that way. If you've read any of the whining and whinging reviews, forget them! You can't please idiots! This is an excellent hotel and the staff are very helpful. Btw, we didn't take advantage of this, but from 6.30am to 9.00am you can get a free coffee in the foyer. Myself and my partner would have no hesitation staying there again. Enjoy your stay!! P.S. I'm assuming that you have a computer if you're reading this, well put it to good use and take a peek on Google streetview!!! << click here to read less

Although a little out of the way this was a perfect location for my visit to Barcelona. Not far from the Nou Camp and easily accessible by tram this hotel far exceeded my expectations. A simple 25-35 minute journey and you were at the bottom of La Rambla. And travelling by tram from Palau Reial gave the opportunity to see parts of the city you could easily miss out on. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind using public transport to see the city!! Only down side was no kettle in room for nght time drink! << click here to read less

This is very far out of the city and not really convient to go anywhere, i was lead to believe it was close to the Nou camp and thats why.... click here to readmore >> This is very far out of the city and not really convient to go anywhere, i was lead to believe it was close to the Nou camp and thats why i booked here as i was going to a match when taxis wouldnt actually go to our hotel after the match as they said it was outside Barcelona (in spanish which i was lucky to have understood) There isnt much in the vicinty of the hotel even regarding restaurants so one had to go all the way to Barcelona to eat which was a tram and then a metro journey away! I was only there for two days and so i didnt really mind but you cant enjoy the city in this location! Otherwise the hotel was clean and staff were friendly! << click here to read less
