On arrival our room smelt very badly of sewage and we asked for a change of rroms. We were told that the hotel was fully booked for that night but to come back in the morning and they would change rooms for us. This was duly done and the rooms we had were very clean and adequate for our stay in the city. All the reception staff, lady in the dining area and cleaners were friendly and helpful. Thank you.

The hotel seems to have two parts one modern and one dated. Unfortunately were situated in the old part of the hotel. The room was very dark and overlooked the back of the neighbouring buildings, the beds were like camp beds, the hiardryer pipe was broken in half and the room felf decidedly dingey and the lift was broken. The location is however excellent. Might be a good idea to request a room in the new part of the hotel.

No complaints about this hotel! Excellent location, could not be better. For the cheap price we paid, had very low expectations, however the hotel was in fact really good. Nice size, clean room with tv, good bathroom and comfortable beds, plus a small balcony over La Rambla which was great for watching the world go by! Helpful friendly staff- will definitely return to Barcelona and this hotel.
