The hotel is an old building but with loads of character, got it at a great price for our 2 nights stay. The hotel didn't have much in the way of a bar for a few quiet ones before going out for the night but location was excellent for getting into the heart of the Gothic Quarters night life. Also just a few hundred yards from Las Rambles so ideal for those with tourist activities in mind. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again.

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Barcino which was in a fantastic location. Our room was at the back of the hotel which made it very dark. We were looking onto a small alleyway/laneway which was a little unfortunate. I would request a room at the front of the hotel next time. Apart from one member of staff who was a little short with us at check in, staff were pleasant enough.
