we were very impressed with the location. The room was basic, all you needed. The staff were very helpful, giving us a map and directing us to where we wanted to visit. The hotel is ideally located to see the central part of Barcelona and being in the Gothic quarter was far more an interesting area to be in. We never once caught a taxi or used the metro although we did walk miles so good walking shoes required. The breakfast was as small or as substantial as you wanted, coffee, juice, croissants, bread, ham,cheeses Would stay again. More >> |

| The hotel was clean but basic however I would recommend not staying at the front. It was extremely noisy at night due it's surrounding Irish bars. The noise was so bad we had to buy ear plugs to get some sleep. |

Perfect Location, 100yds from Las Ramblas, about 500yds from Catayuna Square, Staff extremely helpful, the breakfast room was very small, but for the price it was excellent value. | Hotel was in an excellent location, just off the main La Rambla. Staff at reception very helpful when asked. The centre is quite noisy at night, but the location far outweighs this.I would definitely go back to the same hotel again. |

When we booked this hotel was advertised as a 3 star. On our arrival we discovered that it was in fact only a 2 star. We would have been able to put up with this had all the facilities been available. One of the reasons we chose the Adagio was the air conditioning in the rooms. However, we discovered we had to request for the AC to be switched on per floor, unfortunately it didn't reach our room. Therefore we had to sleep with the window open, which didn't make much difference. Due to our central location this lead to five restless nights sleep because of the noise and heat. We would have to think twice about using your web site again to book anything. More >> |

| Bath leaked water all over the floor. Lino worn through by bathroom door. Room very small for two - and we're not big. Not enough soap for 4 days. Otherwise acceptable, but we would not stay there again. |
