The Minarete Apartments are located in the cosmopolitan area of Roquetas de Mar, 4km from the fisherman`s harbor and just a few meters from the resort centre with its many bars, restaurants, shops and vibrant nightlife. The sandy beaches are just 500 meters from the complex and golfers will find a golf course 800 meters away. The Almeria airport is 33 km away.

The town of Roquetas de Mar is a popular holiday resort and has many attractions to offer travelers. The wide sandy beaches along the coast and the salt lagoons and marshes which are a haven to many species of birds are just a small part of the regions natural beauty. Within the towns` historic centre, several monuments, churches and castles are to be found including the Nuestra Senora del Rosaio and the Castle of Roquetas. The town also boasts a number of golf courses as well as facilities for all kinds of water sports. Typical Spanish tapas bars and restaurants can be found by the small marina.

The Minarete Apartments provides self-catering style accommodation and a variety of facilities, making it a wonderful place to stay. On site facilities include a swimming pool, reception desk that offers a safe deposit box, room service and a beautiful garden and terrace. Guests are welcome to use the facilities at neighboring hotels including the Health and Beauty Centre and the Hotel Playasol and the restaurants and bars as well as entertainment programs at the Hotel Playa Azul. Pets are welcome at the complex and facilities for disabled guests are available.

The Minarete offers 100 charming apartments, all equipped with a private bathroom, heating (in winter), air conditioning, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, a living room with a sofa bed, a complete kitchenette with coffee/tea making facilities and a refrigerator, housekeeping services as well as a balcony or terrace with garden. Two-bedroom apartments feature an extra bathroom. Non smoking rooms are available.

The pedestrian entrance to the hotel is on Av Entremares, which is where reception is, park here to check in, NOT Sierra Nevada as you'll see on your booking. We stayed in Fase II so had on-street parking which was useful. Upper floor apartments have roof terrace with sunbeds and shower, which is more private and more sunny than the garden terraces of the ground floor apartments which are overlooked from above. Useful if you want that all-over tan!
Towels and bedding provided - take a tea towel and dishcloth. BBC World and CNN only english TV channels. Pool pleasant, though bracing in April.
5 minutes from beach. Would recommend. Basic, though good for the price. Read Less

The tea/coffee making facilites consisted of a coffee maker only - you need to take a travel kettle if you want to make tea! The accommodation was basic but good value for money.
