We were very pleasantly surprised by the large size of the apartment, and adjoining bathroom, which was well furnished and spotlessly clean. The 3 pools (childrens, large infinity pool and smaller deeper pool) were set in a well kept and quite pretty garden area. Unfortunately the poolside bar was not staffed while we were there so we had to go into the hotel itself to buy drinks, and in the absence of any piped music, was quiet and quite boring!
The hotel states it is near the beach - it's not! It's a good 30mins. walk to Arenal Beach and if your carrying beach stuff etc, it's a bit of a treck! Read Less
