We had booked flights and other accommadation had let us down so we chose this hotel at the last minute. After reading other reviews we decided to be "adventurous" and take the 1 euro bus people had recommended. Bus stop was right outside arrivals and run every half hour i showed the bus driver my hotel name and he shouted us for stop we needed. it takes about 25 mins and is great. Its the C 6.
When arrived at hotel found it very clean and nicely decoarted and checked in easily. Had a room on 6th floor with a balcony that looked at the castle and the harbour.
Room was clean and very spacious with air con, hairdryer, tv etc. The staff were extremely helpful too. The first morning we forgot to change clocks and woke up 10 mins before breakfast ended i raced down as i need breakfast but my other half couldnt be bothered however they put a pot of coffee on a tray and let me take this to the room with food on. I doubt he wouldve done same for me!!!!
Lots of nice restaurants to choose from there was a nice italian on the upper level of the harbour called Domenico and Miami was good value for money. we didnt eat in hotel restaurant as didnt have chance we like to wander around.
We had a walk round shops and harbour, sunbathed but other than that nothing much else to do in Alicante. We went to Benidorm on a boat trip which was "entertaining" if you have seen the ITV programme called "benidorm" it is exactly the same!!!
