To stay at a typical "tourist hotel" during "not tourist time" was an adventure. During weekdays we were about 10-15 people staying at the hotel, during the weekend the hotel was crowded.
You need to know about the bus, just outside the hotel entrance, to not feel isolated, this time of the year.

where do i start, it was so bad. if ur english DO NOT stay in this hotel, full of english. postioning is poor nearest resturant or bar is a 10 min cab or 20 min walk down the beach. it seemed like an old peoples home full of spanish stay well clear, my girlfriend felt sick after 1st night of food and never ate there again, we paid for full board and paid every morning and nyt for food in a resturant. If you are English DO NOT stay at this hotel! It is in the middle of nowhere, there is nothing to do, unless of course you are 75 years or older and may enjoy an evening waltz (every evening) to Spanish folk songs! There is a massive underground disco place but it is used for the waltz dancing only! This hotel is about 50km from Alicante City and 35km from the airport. In the 3 days I stayed there with 2 friends between us we spent 300 euros on taxis and we only went out clubbing once! There is nothing to do at all, not even a pool table. I would especially feel sorry for children going here because even the entertainment team only speak Spanish! Read Less

This is a good hotel. However, I must say that the walls are so very thin and you can hear someone talking in the room next to you. Also it is full with Spanish people. Staff are helpful but do not speak English apart from one female who worked on receipcion.
Food nice, cost of drinks OK. They are in the process of doing a new gym ect and therefore have nothing avalible gym/sauna wise.
I would give the hotel a 6 out of 10. Read Less

This was our 4th visit to this horel. Although the food has never been really good we have found it acceptable and good value. However, this time, the food was dreadful and we ended up eating out a lot of the time. In addition my husband and many of the other guests had dreadful tummy bugs. The hotel were handing out wipes as we entered the dinning room and giving out bottles of special water which the doctor had recommended. The food was always cold even the chips which were served at every meal. Everyone we spoke to complained about the standard of the food and the lack of choice. Otherwise the staff were always very pleasant and the rooms had been upgradedwhich was a great improvement on our previous visits. I don't think we would consider returning to this hotel. It worked out quite an expensive holiday when taking into account the cost of eating out. Read Less

We had three meals, all food was cold & very poor quality, after that we ate elsewhere. No tea & coffee making facilities in room. Hot water only seemed available after 9PM. No shops nearby & nothing to do. 99.5% of guests were over 60years old! Surrounding towns offered restaurants but were were unabailble to find any entertainment other than go-carting which was very expensive, 18euros per person for 8 minutes!Extensive building work along the costa blanca meant it was not pleasant to look at, cleanliness in the local area was poor and often we could smell sewarage ! We won't be visiting spain again. Read Less
